Mary Jo Schneider, 1st Grade Teacher
My name is Mary Jo Schneider, and I am the 1st Grade teacher.  I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in May, 1990, from St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota.  I have 26 years of teaching experience.  

I am a member of the Kappa Delta Pi International Honors Society in Education and the International Reading Association.  

I believe education is a life-long journey.  A child’s journey through education is guided by parents and teachers who help them find success and reach their full potential.

Laurie Pierce, 2nd Grade Teacher 
My name is Laurie Pierce, and I am a 2nd Grade teacher.  I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from DePaul University.  I have been teaching for 25 years.  Ten of those years have been at St. Hubert Catholic School.  I believe every classroom presents a unique community of learners with varied abilities and learning styles.  My role as an educator is to give the students the tools with which to cultivate their own gardens of knowledge so that every child can feel capable and experience success.

Nicole Hancock,3rd Grade
My name is Nicole Hancock and I am the 3rd grade teacher. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Northeastern Illinois University. I have been teaching for 24 years. I believe that all children can learn. I also believe that children all learn at different rates and in different ways. I believe that every child is unique and has many special talents to share. I want my students to feel safe, valued, and respected. I want them to know that I am here to support them in any way that I can. I also want my students to know how special they are and that they matter!
