We have a strong academic record, thanks to the love and dedication of our talented teachers who help every child succeed and grow in a safe and supportive environment. Our students consistently perform above the archdiocesan, state, and national average in reading and math according to the iReady standardized test results.
The 5 Essentials Survey of teachers, parents, and students is a required evaluation tool for public, private, and Archdiocesan Catholic Schools. St. Hubert Catholic School received a Strong rating in all areas: A Supportive Environment, Collaborative Teachers, Effective Leaders, Involved Families, and Ambitious Instruction. Research shows that schools that score strongly on at least three of these five essentials are 10 times more likely to show substantial gains in student learning, and we were strong in all five!
As a 2014 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, it is our goal to meet and develop the spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical needs of each child in a positive, safe, and caring environment. We offer a rigorous curriculum inclusive of the academic subjects of reading, writing, spelling and grammar, mathematics, science, and social studies. Students are challenged to work to their highest potential with consideration given to individual needs and learning styles. With 1:1 iPads and various coding and robotics items in our media center, students are given many opportunities for exploratory learning to become problem solvers, inventors, and logical thinkers. In addition, students attend classes in physical education, art, library, technology, and Spanish to enrich our core curriculum.
