Seeking to be guided by the Holy Spirit, the St. Hubert Catholic School Advisory Board is a consultative body that provides direction and advice to school administration and the Pastor regarding issues that affect the school. It is made up of the Pastor, Co-President, Principal, and members from our school and parish community who serve three-year terms.
The Advisory Board assists the Principal and Pastor by recommending policies, identifying educational needs, and articulating the aspirations of the school and school community. These goals become the basis for program objectives, policies, and action plans for the educational program. School Advisory Board Members will participate in Board Standing Committees.
All meetings are held on the second Monday every other month in the School Library at 7 PM, unless otherwise specified. No meetings are held in July. All School Advisory Board meetings are open to the public, except when an Executive Session is called to order.
If you have an agenda item you wish to be included, please inform the School Advisory Board at least one week prior to the monthly meeting date. Please note that only issues that fall into the scope of the School Advisory Board will be placed on the agenda.
Each year, at least one School Advisory Board member completes his/her term of office, thus creating a vacancy. The qualifications for being a School Advisory Board Member are:
Be a registered member of one of our cluster churches (Church of the Holy Spirit, St. Hubert, St. Marcelline or St. Matthew) representing the parishes of SS. Matthew and Hubert or St. Gregory of Nyssa or a parent of a child attending the school.

Be willing to maintain high levels of integrity and confidentiality.
Be willing to promote school goals of service, welcome, academics, prayer, and development.

School board elections:
The registered parishioners of SS. Matthew and Hubert Parish, as well as parents of children enrolled in the school elect school Advisory Board members. The elections take place the third weekend of May. A School Advisory Board Member holds a term of three years (up to two consecutive terms). Officers are nominated and elected by the board.
