Our Primary Grades focus on the development of literacy and math. Literacy instruction encompasses reading and phonics, spelling, as well as skills in grammar and writing. Cursive writing is taught to students in grades 2 and 3 to develop fine motor skills. Mathematics in the primary grades concentrates on mastery of basic facts, skills, and concepts. Fundamental skills are taught through the use of manipulatives, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Based in Community
We are dedicated to addressing and nurturing the spiritual, intellectual, social, and emotional needs of every child within a supportive and compassionate environment
Committed to Excellence
Students are encouraged to reach their full potential while taking into account their unique needs and learning styles.
Grounded in Virtues
The sacraments are explored at each grade level, with a particular focus on preparing for the Eucharist and Reconciliation in second grade. Children take part in weekly Mass, service projects, and liturgical events.
